Are You In a Trade association?
Yes. We are proud members of the National Caterers Association (NCASS), whose training courses and risk assessment processes we use.

Is Everyone Trained?
Yes. Consistently delivering the highest hygiene standards is central to our business. We have the highest possible scores on the doors hygiene rating of 5 out of 5. Everyone in Team Shake holds an up-to-date level 1, 2 or 3 food hygiene certificate, and is committed to best possible practice. In addition Jules and Steve are trained in the safe use of LPG, fire extinguishers, catering H&S and risk management.

Where Are You Registered?
We are registered with Elmbridge, Surrey.

Are You Properly Insured?
Yes, We have Product and Public Liability Insurance (£5 million) and Employers Liability Insurance (£10 million).

Are You Environmentally Friendly?
We always try to use British produce, using local bakers and suppliers wherever possible. We believe in supporting local business and recognise the environmental benefit of minimising long-distance transportation of produce to an event. Our food packaging is biodegradable.

Do You Do Fair Trade Products?
Yes. Shakey's Diner sells Fairtrade tea and coffee at all our outdoor shows, sport events and festivals.
